Voodoo Dolls and Death's Bride

  • Mar. 29th, 2008 at 6:06 PM

Yay for my first entry! :)

I've been meaning to create my own LiveJournal for ages, since I'm always lurking this site and loving every moment of it. It's actually quite a wonderful work of art and my congrats go to the creator of all this. I love all the communities and friendly people and the journal entries and - okay, I'll stop now before I start rambling (I do that a lot). I've been thinking about how to start this first entry since it's the beginning of something new and exciting. I'm terrible at the whole having a journal thing because I always end up forgetting about it but I promise I'll try to update this one as soon as humanly possible. There's actually a big reason behind this journal: I've recentely joined a great site, FictionPress, and posted my original stories (Which aren't all that good but I'm getting there) and my reader, God bless them all, have asked me many questions I'm eager to answer. I needed a place where we could all get together, so that I could actually answer the previously mentioned questions. FictionPress is about posting your original piece of fiction, not about answering questions in incredibly long sentences.

Before I actually start to do that, I would like to tell you a few things about me: I'm an ordinary girl, living an ordinary life. I'm a 16 year old proud Romanian girl and English is my fifth language (which is exactly why I make so many spelling/grammer/punctuation mistakes). I've been writing for about five years in Romanian but only for about two years in English. I love writing stories in English and have abandoned all my Romanian stories. :P I daydream a LOT and my nose is almost always stuck in some book. I love reading and writing and creating characters and their personality. The ideas for my stories come naturally, mostly when I am laying in bed, listening to my iPod (my PINK iPod *huggles*). I'm also incredibly eager to write during class and, by the time I get home, that need vanishes into thin air (curious, isn't it?). I hate writing on paper and love writing on my laptop because I find writing on paper boring and very slow (That doesn't stop me from putting certain ideas down on paper, though. I even have my own notebook - Mr. Know-It-All). Okay, that has turned into a rather long description... so, if you're still reading this, I apologize for my rambling.

Now, back to the Death's Bride Q&A. There's been this question popping up in the reviews for Chapter Five of Death's Bride and I'm finally having the opportunity to clear a few things up.

I'll answer more questions as the story progresses. I know you all have many other questions but I can't answer them without spoiling what will happen next and that would royally suck. I had a lot of fun answering these questions and I only just realized how complicated my characters actually are. *laughs* But, then again, Complicated is my middle name.

Moving on, guess what? I'm almost done with Chapter One of Agree to Disagree. It's my first... realistic story that doesn't involve anything supernatural. I hope you'll all like it and leave a review with your thoughts. I'll give you a cookie if you do. Sounds interesting, doesn't it? :D

Now that I'm done with the Q&A game, I'm left staring at the tiny Voodoo doll my friend bought me. It scares me. I mean, it's this tiny little thing that resembles a pig but still... looking at it gives me the chills. Do any of you have a Voodoo doll or am I the only one? I wonder if I'm ever going to use it. Mwuahahaha, I'm positively evil. :D
